Contract ZONING AND PLANNING CONSULTANT
Job Description
The Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Trade and Tourism wishes to recruit a qualified and experienced person to map out all the existing tourism developments in Vanuatu. The aim of the project is to provide development guidance for Tourism Investors (Foreign and Local) through GIS zoning Maps for Tourism Products as required by Department. Development of this Tourism mapping will provide guidance to the Department of Tourism on areas of development by contracting a GIS consultant to carry out the work immediately.
The project objectives would be achieved by:
a) Mapping out the current development and propose some new changes that meets the VDOT standards,
b) Prepare land use maps, land policy, Land cover maps of the areas where the resorts are located,
c) Collect GPS points of current developments and map out.
