Full-Time WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Job Description
We at Discount Hardware are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, logistics, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Train and manage warehouse staff, ensuring they meet performance goals and adhere to safety standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment of orders.
- Coordinate logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and oversee maintenance as necessary.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and productivity metrics.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse management role.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and procedures.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift operation certification.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
