VCCRP GEDSI Coordinator
The Vanuatu Community-based Climate Resilience Project (VCCRP) is the largest community-led climate adaptation initiative in the Pacific, funded primarily by the Green Climate Fund. Operating across all six provinces, it strengthens communities’ ability to adapt to climate change through locally tailored actions, government and civil society support, and cross sector dialogue. The project is led by the Ministry of Climate Change’s Department of Climate Change, with implementation support from key ministries and partners. Save the Children Vanuatu plays a key role in mobilizing funds and delivering activities alongside government agencies.
