Vacancy Notice: Two Assistant Finance and Admin officer
The Vanuatu National Power and Water Authority (VAN-PAWA) is committed to providing reliable and sustainable utility services to the communities we serve. As we continue to expand, we are looking for two motivated individuals to join our team as Assistant finance and Admin Officers for the Northern and Southern Divisions.
Position Overview:
The assistant Finance and Admin officer in a utility company is responsible for providing support to the finance and admin officer with various administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, and stepping in to fulfill the Finance and Admin officer’s responsibilities (Receipting collection) in their absence due to business matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the finance and admin officer with filing and data entry.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for office supplies and equipment.
- Assist Finance and Admin officer to manage petty cash for cleaning supplies and track related expenditures.
- Prepare and set up office spaces for meetings and events.
- Collaborate with the finance and admin officer to promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administration, cashier and procurement role.

- Basic understanding of software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
