We are seeking an experienced trade assistant to join our maintenance delivery team in Port Vila.
The role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works on site
Day to day you will be responsible for:
Supporting the delivery of planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities
Taking water samples
Undertaking site maintenance such as weed removal, rubbish removal, removal of leaves and rubbish from ponds, testing of flow devices, checking irrigation, check screens, pump alarms, and trickling filter spray pattern and observe odour fan airflow (normal 1.25–2.5 kPa pressure).
Establishing, managing and developing strong relationships with customers and clients
Ensuring commitment to zero harm, health and safety and environmental compliance
Using our works management system to log and document all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Working along side our subcontractor delivery partners to support the deliver of all planned and reactive maintenance. Ensuring all are completed on time and to the correct standard
This is a key role, and you will need:
Experience working in the facilities maintenance industry
Experience working on large client sites supporting the delivery of works
Great time management and ability to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance
Commitment to safety and quality works
Ability to work autonomously
Someone who is not afraid to ask questions or for assistance
Broad facilities management or engineering knowledge with demonstrated experience across a diverse range of engineering and building assets for maintenance
High level of emotional intelligence to work with and build strong relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
Great coordination and communication skills and loves a challenge
To pass a pre-employment drug test and medical is required
Provide a satisfactory Police Clearance
Have a current drivers license
