Contract Duration: 1 year – 3 days a week

Position Location – Port Vila

World Vision Vanuatu is seeking a new staff member for the position of Technology for Development Technical Specialist, preferably a Ni – Vanuatu Citizen. The Technology for Development Technical Specialist will:

• Lead the integration of technology in World Vision Vanuatu’s Resilient Livelihoods portfolio, including regular monitoring of program technical quality and provision of operational support.
• Represent WVV in high-level meetings related to this technical sector of expertise, including at International, National, Provincial and community levels.
• Take the lead in drafting technology-related elements of project reports, baselines and evaluations for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the high technical quality implemented on the ground is well documented and accessible to all partners.
• Be an active member of World Vision International’s technical teams, ensuring that WVV is following best agency and international practice.
• Work effectively, efficiently, and in cooperation with the Programme Quality team ensuring cohesive team work and good information flow.
