Full-Time TEAM LEADER M-VATU
Job Description
Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Team Leader M-Vatu to be based in Port Vila.
Missions
The main mission of the Team Leader M-Vatu will to ensure the successful roll out and commercial deployment of Mobile Money project in Vanuatu.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage the Mobile Money project team
- Be aware of the competitors and their network, strengths and possible weaknesses
- Understand where, and by whom, our M-VATU business is done
- Coordinate and manage project from inception to completion
- Propose a cost-efficient monthly mission structure to ensure M-VATU is reached every customer in Vanuatu
- Be able to find new Agents & explore the business
- Need to visit the island across Vanuatu & promote the business
- Accountable for the Monthly & Yearly targets
- Coordinate with Marketing, Call Centre & Distribution team for the smooth transaction of business
- Ensure project aligns with set strategy and met within the set time frame
- Coordinates all team members involved to keep workflow on track
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations with the authorities concerned to ensure the progress of the project
- To ensure compliance of the product with the Regulatory authorities and Reserve Bank of Vanuatu rules and regulations
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and dealers and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Build all process and procedure for the mobile money project
- Recruitment of agents with focus on KPI delivery
- Train agents and sub-agents on Mobile Money service offering customer service and Anti Money laundering (AML) & Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures in accordance with the training manual
- Assist in customer complaints handling and resolution for Mobile Money
- Visit all operational agents regularly
- Provide required merchandize and marketing collateral support to agents
- Ensure all agents maintain the required levels of e-money & cash at all times
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to at all times. POS & merchandising materials are available at agent outlets
- Consistent audit of outlets and escalation of the same to the product manager for necessary action to be undertaken
- Reporting- preparing performance report as and when required
- Assist the team in the organization and delivery of ongoing training and support of the Mobile Money agents and staff
- Look for new business opportunities to roll out Mobile Money business to customer (B2C) and customer to business (C2B) payments solution
- Setup and implement B2C & C2B solutions for business partners with complete staff training
- Ensure timely reconciliation and payments to business partners and agents.
Competences:
1. Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business studies or related discipline
- Knowledge of RBF’s Financial Transactions reporting Act and guidelines
- General understanding of sales, marketing and distribution of product and services
- Have proven Project Management and cross-functional team experience
- Should be willing to travel and work within timelines
