Full-Time TEAM LEADER FOR EU PROJECT
Job Description
The EU Helti Kakae, Helti Famili Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the European Union funded Helti Kakae, Helti Famili project activities in Tanna (2 year program). This includes leading the project team to ensure smooth implementation through good planning; close coordination with all stakeholders, both internal and external; support for monitoring and learning processes; and timely reporting. It also involves ensuring close coordination with and support for CARE’s other Gender Equality projects in Tafea, currently including CARE’s Young Women’s Leadership Program, Leftemap Sista, and Pacific Girl; as well as supporting coordination with CARE’s resilience, emergency response and governance projects in Tafea.
You will have:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and/ or minimum 4-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in community based development work with an International Non-Government Organisation (INGO);
- Proven experience managing and implementing similar programs including economic empowerment programs targeting women and/or women’s leadership programs;
- High level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines in a complex environment;
- Demonstrated experience in effectively leading, people management and motivating a team;
