Teachers
PVIS is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and passionate primary and secondary teachers to join our vibrant and dynamic team for the 2025 or 2026 school years. We have openings for both full-time and flexible (casual) employment, with particular interest in
teachers for primary education, senior mathematics and science (including chemistry and physics), art, humanities and physical education. As a school accredited to offer the South Australian Certificate of Education International, it is essential that teachers meet the criteria outlined for these roles. Some positions are available for an immediate start, by negotiation, or for the 2026 school year.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
We are looking for teachers who meet the following criteria:
- Familiarity with the Australian, New Zealand, or International schooling context
- Hold internationally recognised qualifications & relevant teaching experience with a strong understanding of curriculum in your area
- A university undergraduate degree, post-graduate teaching qualification or a 3-year teaching qualification, & eligibility for registration in Australia or New Zealand
- A clean police record & the ability to pass working with children checks
- Demonstrate a passion for teaching& learning, with a strong commitment to student growth
- Are adaptable, resilient, and able to respond positively to a dynamic and changing environment
- Uphold PVIS values of excellence, respect, courage, curiosity, and equity in their teaching practices and daily interactions

Vanuatu, the Pacific, Australia, or New Zealand. For teachers from further afield who meet
the criteria, we are also interested to hear from you, but please note that we cannot assist
with relocation outside the immediate region.
