Job Description
We are recruiting Kindergarten teachers and Year 1-6 teachers for the next school year (starting Feb 2022).
Teouma Christian Academy is a Christ-centered school providing high quality learning experiences that will prepare our students for life. Our Christian faith is fundamental to all aspects of the school. We seek to help students discover their God-given identity and gifts and use them to influence their families, their community, and the world.
We are looking for experienced teachers with formal qualifications in Education/Primary School Teaching – Certificate, Diploma or Degree – from accredited institutions such as APTC, VITE or USP.
You have to be highly motivated, passionate about teaching children and willing to work hard and long hours as the work of a teacher is much more than the time spent in the classroom.
You have to agree with the Christian ethos at our school and actively participate in spiritual activities such as devotions and chapel.
Our salaries follow the Vanuatu government pay scale for teachers and is based on qualifications and experience. Teachers receive free lunch at the school. There is limited teacher housing available for single teachers without family (dormitory style accommodation).
