Job Summary:
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring a high standard of customer service, managing staff, and driving sales. Your role involves implementing company policies, maintaining store standards, and achieving financial targets while creating a positive shopping environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operations Management:
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and stocked according to company standards
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise
2.Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
Implement strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase satisfaction.
3.Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
Schedule employee shifts and manage timekeeping.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
4.Sales and Financial Management:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve store targets and drive revenue.
Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on store metrics.
Manage store budget, including controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.
5.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Implement and maintain health, safety, and security protocols.
6.Marketing and Promotions:
Coordinate in-store promotions and marketing activities to boost sales.
Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.
7.Problem Solving:
Address and resolve operational issues, including equipment malfunctions and supply chain disruptions
Implement corrective actions to improve store performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in a retail management role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Experience with inventory management and financial reporting.
Manage and lead the IT team, providing mentorship and support.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.
Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to the IT infrastructure.
Prepare and manage the IT budget, including forecasting and cost control.
Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems.
