Purpose
The Senior State Prosecutor – prosecutes trials and committals in the Magistrate Courts and trials and appeals in the Supreme Court.
- (SSP) prosecutes appeals in the Court of Appeal.
- (SSP) also renders advice about the sufficiency of evidence and the relevant charges(s)
- (SSP) supervise state prosecutors and summary prosecutors.
