The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experienced and qualified person to fill the position of Senior Provincial Human Resources Officer – SPHRO – PENAMA Office of the Public Service Commission:

Annual Salary: 1,906,500VT
Location: Penama Province
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification – Degree
Special Business Education – Management/ Public Administration
Experience – Experience and/ or knowledge of HR policies and procedures
Special skills – Attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner. Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team. Ability to use software application. Ability to understand government legislation relation to HR functions. Have experience in Microsoft office application (Word, Excel).
Thinking Style – Open minded and able to think practically through approaches
Communication – Excellent presentation skills which includes verbal and written communication.
Behavioral Competencies – Shows a sense of professionalism, punctuality, visionary, adaptable to environmental change, commitment, self discipline, accountable, proactive and cooperate well with team members.
Language – English or French and Bislama
