The Role
Due to exciting growth and expansion, we are looking for a highly organised Project Manager to set up a new PMO across the group, oversee the successful execution of major internal projects and work in a small, high performing team. Working closely with the Development and Product teams utilising Agile methodologies, and engaging key stakeholders, the Project Manager will create detailed project plans, identify required resources, drive the communication strategy and manage all aspects of the project from inception to delivery, providing regular progress reports to the Executive.
Key Success Factors:
- Establish the PMO as the way of delivering projects across the group
- Deliver impactful and engaging education and training across the business
- Lead project planning and update sessions
- Establish resource requirements to achieve project outcomes
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required
- Ensure projects meet deadlines
- Manage positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Design and sign off on contracts
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Conduct project review and creating detailed reports for the Executive
- Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects
The successful applicant will bring:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Management or a related field.
- 5+ Years of project management experience and relevant certification (PMI/PMP/Prince2 or SCRUM).
- Demonstrated experience working with software development teams
- Experience working with remote stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing multiple streams of work in parallel
- Ability to plan, organise, implement, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient use of technical and business resources to achieve project objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, together with interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Proficiency with the G-suite and project management software
- Big picture thinking and vision.
Also desirable:
Experience of working in Finance or Fintech
Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
