Full-Time SENIOR LPG OPERATOR

Job Description

The Senior LPG Technician will be responsible for performing various technical and operational tasks to support the company’s LPG terminal operations. This includes cylinder filling, bulk road tanker deliveries, gas equipment servicing, air conditioning installations, and terminal operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high safety and operational standards while delivering excellent service to customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. LPG Operations:

  • Accurately and safely fill LPG cylinders following company standards and regulations.
  • Conduct bulk LPG deliveries using road tankers, ensuring timely and safe transportation to customers.
  • Oversee stock management of LPG cylinders and bulk storage at the terminal.

2. Gas Equipment Service & Installations:

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and equipment
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure all gas systems meet safety and operational requirements.
  • Install and service gas heat pump (GHP) air conditioning systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in GHP systems to ensure optimal performance.

3. Terminal Operations & Ship Discharge:

  • Assist with LPG terminal operations, including product receipt, storage, and dispatch.
  • Participate in ship discharge operations, ensuring the safe transfer of LPG into terminal storage tanks.
  • Monitor terminal equipment and infrastructure for any maintenance needs.

4. Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, deliveries, and equipment servicing.
  • Actively participate in safety drills and training programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in LPG operations or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical skills in gas fitting, equipment servicing, and installations.
  • Experience with road tankers and terminal operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in LPG and gas operations.
  • A valid driver’s license (preferably with heavy vehicle certification).
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual labor tasks.
