The Ministry of Climate Change through the Department of Environment Protection and Conservation wishes to recruit a suitable candidate for the Position of the Senior Conservation officer.

Location: Department of Environmental Protection (DEPC) – Port Vila
Ministry: Climate Change & Adaptation (MCCA)
Selection Criteria:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree
Special Business Education:
Protected Area Management, OR Environmental Science OR Terrestrial and Marine Biology OR natural resource management OR environment planning OR physical geography
Experience:
5 years or more in community conservation or protected areas management, biodiversity or natural resource projects delivery and management, project proposal development and report writing
Special Skills:
Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (word, excel, access, and publisher). Works independently, makes logical and constructive decisions. Driving Licence and/or Scuba Certified

Active, analytical, thorough and practical
Communication and Interpersonal skill
Excellent communication skills, with respectful and good personality is highly required
