The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experience and qualified person to fill the position of Senior Compliance Officer, Office of the Public Service Commission:
Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer
Post No: 503
Grade: PS 6.1
Annual Salary: 1,906,500VT
Location: Port Vila
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification – Degree
Special Business Education – Law or Industrial Relations with good background in Law.
Experience – Demonstrated experience in human resource management, particularly in respect to all or some of the duties and responsibilities.
Special Skills – Ability to:
- Understand policy
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Work as Part of a team
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Quickly understand and interpret legislation
- Ability work on instructions precisely
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Thinking Style – Open minded and able to think practically and analytically and think through approach
Communication/ Interpersonal Skills – Excellent presentation skills which includes verbal and written communication.
Behavioural Competencies – Shows a sense of professionalism, punctuality, visionary, adaptable to environmental change, commitment, self-discipline, accountable, proactive and cooperate well with team members.
Language – English or French and Bislama.
