Secondary School Teacher (2021) – Mathematics
Port Vila International School is keenly seeking a number of suitably qualified secondary school teachers to commence in 2021 (or a mutually convenient time). At present Vanuatu’s borders are closed, so we are particularly keen to find eligible and exceptional teachers within Vanuatu. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates outside of Vanuatu.
Versatile and resourceful teachers, who can teach a range of year levels are invited to apply for a 1 or 2-year contract position by negotiation. The nature of the appointment is flexible based on the capabilities of the candidate and the school’s needs. We are particularly seeking mathematics and science specialists.

PVIS is an independent, co-educational EEC to Year 12 school located in Port Vila, Vanuatu with a student population of approximately 400 students. More than 50% of our students are ni-Vanuatu.
We teach the Australian Curriculum from early learning through to Year 10. We teach the SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) at Year 11 and 12 (the last year of school in Australia.
We welcome applications from experienced professionals who are looking to join a dynamic team. Teachers with tertiary teaching qualifications (eligible to register to teach in Australia, NZ, US etc.) and experience delivering best practice Australian Curriculum-based education, with the capacity to adapt for the Vanuatu context.
