AJC is looking for one of his client:
Position
Sales and Stock controller
MAIN DUTIES
- Maintains company’s inventory ,replenishing items according to business needs
- Making sure that stock level are consistent, record and maintain inventory list, check product codes, review reports and paperwork and report to management.
- Checking stock level in retail shop and warehouse
- Collecting stock from the warehouse and delivering it to the shop
- Prepare order proposal for management to review before placing order.4
- Liaising with suppliers for stock availability and latest pricing
- Answer emails for all aspect of stock import ,freight forwarder and custom clearance
- Prepare stock costing sheet in excel before entering stock in POS software
- Opening and closing of the shops when needed if store manager is absent
- Opening and closing the cash registers and reconcile when needed with store manager
- Making sure POS backup are properly done
- Preparing banking when needed if store manager is absent
- Handling sales and customer relations during opening hours
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stock management and sales control, preferably in a retail or fishing shop environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and inventory reports.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fishing and knowledge of fishing equipment and supplies is a plus.
