Job Description

SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

A Sales & Marketing manager at Magenta Holdings Limited overlooks and manages the Import and Distribution business. He/she is in a regular communication and contact with product management team, suppliers and warehouse supervisors providing them regular feedbacks on the product performance in Vanuatu as well as planning marketing and promotions in the country. He/she should be able to manage a team of merchandisers and sales persons as well as training them to elevate them in the field.

Responsibilities for sales marketing manager

  • Effectively Manage Sales & Distribution Channel – Selling Objectives (MPR), Understanding and Deploying Required Support, Working with Sub-dealers and meeting customers
  • Define and/or deploy Sales and Marketing strategy
  • Effectively manager a team of salesman and merchandisers.
  • To propose and implement sales/marketing plans for segments specific to the market
  • To manage sales forecasts and provide input for budget & roadmap
  • Work with General Manager on building reporting systems to support data reporting needs
  • Coordinate departmental activities
  • Conceive, develop and execute in a timely manner, print/social/online/email marketing campaigns for all formats of the audiobooks in collaboration with print marketing teams to reach retail and library channels
  • Communicate detailed campaign updates directly to editors, publicists and marketers, publishers, and third-party partners
  • Cultivate long term, cross division audio marketing opportunities with third parties
  • Present formally in key meetings and actively participate in all imprint-wide marketing discussions related to titles and campaigns

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years experience in sales & marketing with at least 2 years as a sales Manager
  2. Must be computer literate with hands on experience in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
  3. Must a valid drivers licence
  4. Be able to work seven days if required
  5. Good organisational skills
