Full-Time SALES MANAGER
Job Description
Punjas are advertising for the position of Sales Manager.
To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have on-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of operations, sales, marketing and administration of the wholesale and retail of consumable goods business with at least 10 years experience in a similar role.
The Sales Manager must be able to multi-task and provide overall general management to ensure profitable running of the business, management of costs, adherence to all business requirements, liaising with and reporting to Head Office (based overseas).
Interested candidates must hold at least a Business related diploma from a reputable institution, and be able to demonstrate their capability to perform the following.
- Formulate and implement strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans, then oversee all necessary activities to fulfill strategic objectives
- Meet sales budgets in terms of value and quantity
- Conduct effective sales activities
- Oversee product development through understanding the changing needs of customers/ sales trends and updating products accordingly
- Manage costs of operations control as per budget, training programs for the sales and marketing team and the company as a whole
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate is required to have:
- Minimum on 10 years of progressive experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organisation, managing the Sales and Marketing operation
- Minimum of Diploma in Business (Management / Accounting)
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
- Proven leadership experience, providing guidance and direction to all staff
- Proven experience overseeing the administrative aspects of the business and managing the day to day operations and
Experience in developing business relationships with suppliers and customers through a collaborative approach.
