Job Description
The Department of Tourism is seeking to employ a Project Coordinator to manage the Safe Business Operations Training roll-out
Program Objectives:
The overall objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support to the Coalition to deliver SBO training activities to pre-selected groups across Efate. Targeted activities of the roll out will include stakeholder consultations, facilitating trainings, issue advocacy, relationship management, and monitoring of the training implementation.
Specification of Duties:
The consultant will work under the guidance of the Department of Tourism with inputs from the Coalition (APTC, World Vision, VSP, VCCI, DoPH, and others that may join such as MoET, DoL) to achieve the following:
- Urgent finalisation of draft ‘training location plan’ for Efate, as developed by coalition
partners , including proposed dates for each training to occur; - Preparation of required budget for Coalition partners to fulfil training requirements (travel,
venue hire, refreshments, printing); - Updated mapping of completed training;
- Liaison with all relevant Ministries, Departments and other organizations to ensure
communications are received by all who need to attend, including a program of pre-scheduled weekly update meetings for the duration of the consultancy; - Management of communications to reach potential business representatives in each training location via communications lead;
