Job Overview
Together with other Directors, the Resident Director will be responsible for the daily operations and full compliance oversight of the company. The company in Vanuatu is still a start-up at this stage so required work volumes from the Resident Director will be low and work may mostly be performed on a flexi-time and shared basis. The Resident Director must be permanently resident in Vanuatu but may work remotely from home and will only occasionally be required to attend at the company offices. Experience in the financial services industry is required and experience within the securities market is preferred. Managing people is not required for this position.
What Will You Do?
The role is very broad, but generally the Director will be the communication point between the Vanuatu company and the financial regulator and will receive the full support of group compliance in ensuring timely reply to the regulator.
Key Skills Required:
- More than 1 year experience is required in the financial services sector with previous experience in executive or high-level positions necessary.
- The Director must be able to speak and write English
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Experience in the financial securities industry
