Job title: Research and Development Officer

Salary Scale: PS 4.1

Purpose:
Research and analyze relevant data that would technically assist valuation, Planning and Enforcement Sections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze relevant data that affects the Real Estate sector in Vanuatu.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the Real Estate industry to identify indicators
  influencing Real Estate Market.
• Collaborate with Enforcement and Valuer General’s Office to review rents
• Advise department on the progress or retreat of the Real Estate industry in Vanuatu.
• Collaborate with commercial banks and Real Estate Agencies to collect true sale and value of the property being sold.
• Liaise with valuers to collect and enter data prior to report preparation.
• Compliance with code of conduct of the Department of Lands.
• Any other duties as reasonably request by supervisor.

 

• Qualification: Degree
• Special Business Education: Land Management or any other related field.
• Experience: Relevant work experience in Land Management and/or Real Estate Valuation sector.

Job Category: Government & council. Job Type: Full-Time. Job Salary: 1,000,000-1,500,000.
