REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ) WORKS

Date: 03rd November 2021.
The Department of Water Resources (the Employer) invites you to submit your quotation for carrying out the works as described herein. Any resulting contract shall be subject to the attached General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and Special Conditions of Contract (SCC). At the time the Contract is awarded the Employer reserves the right to increase or decrease the works required up to 25%.
SECTION A: QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS
1) Description of Works and Location:
The Dept. of Water Resources requires the services (Labour, Tools, Equipment and Materials) to be undertaken at the Luganville Water Supply Pump Station in Santo. The works required includes the replacement of the roofing and structures as detailed below:
I) Pump House
- Remove and replace all timber stud wall
- Remove all wall cladding and replace for chain-link with galvanize mesh and for wall corrugated cladding with new walls.
- All timber rafters are to be replaced
- All timber purlins replace with proper cyclone tie down
- Do away with existing roofing and replace with trim deck roofing
II) Underground Well House
- Remove the either shed
- Make good existing steel column
- Replaced timber column with steel column
- Add in timber beam for tie down rafters
- Add new purlins with tie down to rafters
- Use Trim deck roofing for the replacement of the old roofing
III)Store House
- Make good all corrosion steel structure
- Replace all chain-link wall cladding with Glavine steel mesh.
- Apply cement white wash on all exterior and interior walls
Refer attached Schedule of Drawings the existing As-Built of the pump shed for your perusal.
2) Quotations should be: Inclusive of VAT and duties.
3) Works are to commence: 01st January 2022 Works are to be completed by: 30th April 2022.
4) Quotations must be valid for 90 days from the Submission Date and Time given below.
5) The defects liability period offered shall be: 30 days
6) Quotations and supporting documents as specified in Section B must be clearly marked with the RFQ Works Number given above and must indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions.
