REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ) WORKS

Date: 11th APRIL 2025
The Department of Water Resources (DoWR) (the Employer) invites you to submit your quotation for carrying out the works as described herein. Any resulting contract shall be subject to the attached General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and Special Conditions of Contract (SCC). At the time the Contract is awarded the Employer reserves the right to increase or decrease the works required up to 25%.
SECTION A: QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS:
1) Description of Works and Location: The Department of Water Resources (DoWR) requires the following works towards Mele Water Supply System Restoration on Efate Island, SHEFA PROVINCE,
a) Rehabilitation of one Spring Box (2.8 (2.8 m L x 1.96 m W x 1.2 m H) See attached drawings
Scope of work: Rehabilitation of existing
- spring box,
- spring box cover,
- installation of spring box pipe work
- installation of spring box strainer
b) Installation of a 15m span creek crossing (See attached drawings, layout plan and pipe section)
c) Installation of three (3) air valves (See attached drawings, layout plan and pipe section)
d) Installation of two (2) washouts (See attached drawings, layout plan and pipe section)
e) Connection of Main Pipeline from the spring box to water storage tank of 1.3km length including supervision of pipe trenching and backfilling of the said pipeline trench and laying of caution tape along the trench before backfilling (See attached drawings, layout plan and pipe section)
2) Quotations should be: Exclusive of VAT and duties.
3) Works are to commence: 7th JUNE 2025 Works are to be completed by: 7th AUGUST 2025
4) Quotations must be valid for 90 days from the Submission Date and Time given below.
5) The defects liability period offered shall be: 6 months from practical completion.
6) Quotations and supporting documents as specified in Section B must be clearly marked with the RFQ Works Number given above and must indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions.
