Job Description
CARE Vanuatu whose focus is on Emergency Response, Gender Equality, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) is planning to support the NDMO and cluster led humanitarian response to the large humanitarian needs create by TC Harold. This may require employment of additional national emergency responders across a range of skills sets.
CARE is urgently seeking CVs from people with emergency response experience and technical skills in the following areas:
- Project management
- Coordination
- Field officers
- Finance and accounting
- Logistics
- Shelter
- Gender
- WASH
- Food security
- Human Resources
- Administration
The work will most likely be based in islands and provinces affected by TC Harold such as Penama and Malampa and will be under difficult conditions. People from these provinces strongly encouraged to apply. Some work may be in Port Vila. Applicants MUST be already in Vanuatu and be Ni-Vanuatu citizens or have the right to work in Vanuatu.
