Port Vila International School keenly seeks a Receptionist to join our team in 2021.
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about relationships, community and organisation. You will work with children and families every day in your role, this means you will be warm, welcoming, and naturally curious about our school and wider community. You will be system focused, able to prioritise and make practical suggestions to continually improve the overall administration and operations.
PVIS is an independent, co-educational Early Education Centre to Year 12 school located in Port Vila, Vanuatu with a student population of approximately 400 students. More than 50% of our students are ni-Vanuatu. We employ local (63%) and international (37%) staff. The school is proud to provide and facilitate the provision of scholarships to local students with an average annual value of 14 million vatu.
We teach the Australian Curriculum from early learning through to Year 10. We teach the SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) at Year 11 and 12 (the last year of school in Australia.
