RAN PROJECT COORDINATOR
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking a RAN Project Coordinator to be based in Port Vila.
Missions
RAN Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of RAN projects. This role involves managing the project team, resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to the desired quality standards. The job description of the coordinator is typically including the following responsibilities:
Terms of Reference
1. Project Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and requirements for deployment.
- Creating comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
2. Team Management:
- Building and leading a cross-functional team and other relevant roles.
- Assigning tasks, setting clear expectations, and facilitating communication and collaboration among team members.
3. Scope and Change Management:
- Ensuring that the project stays within its defined scope and objectives.
- Managing change requests and evaluating their potential impact on the project’s timeline, budget, and overall goals.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
- Managing the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
- Optimizing resource utilization and adjusting as necessary to maintain project efficiency.
5. Risk Management:
- Identifying potential risks and issues that could affect project success.
- Developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges as they arise.
6. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Maintaining regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, executives, and team members.
- Providing status updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Quality Assurance and Certification
- Implementing quality control processes to ensure that the mobile app meets established standards and user requirements.
8. Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Overseeing the execution of project tasks and deliverables, monitoring progress against the project plan.
- Identifying deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
- Creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Generating regular reports to provide insights into project progress, risks, and accomplishments.
10. Continuous Improvement:
- Conducting post-project reviews to analyse project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Applying lessons learned to enhance future project management practices.
11. Technical Understanding:
- Having a sound understanding Mobile Cellular Network.
12. Traveling:
- Able to travel to remote islands.
Competences:
1. Knowledge
- Be a holder of an Engineering degree or equivalent
- Have a at least 2 years’ experience at that level
2. Skills
- Fluent English or French and Bislama
- Strong communication and organising skills
- Good writing and verbal skills
- Good analytical skills
- Can work in team
- Have leadership skills
- Possess Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Have a Valid Driver’s Licence
