Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Provincial Coordinator to join our team at Vanuatu Institute of Technology. As a Provincial Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in advancing VIT& mission by facilitating education and training programs within your Tafea province. You will work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and educators to ensure the effective delivery of our programs and the overall success of VIT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local schools, community leaders, and relevant government agencies within your assigned province.
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of VIT’s educational and training programs, ensuring they meet the specific needs and demands of the province.
  • Collaborate with VIT& central management team to develop and adapt educational materials and resources for the provincial context.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach activities, workshops, and information sessions to promote VIT’s programs and engage prospective students.
  • Provide guidance and support to local educators and trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction.
  • Monitor program outcomes, collect data, and report on progress to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to program coordination, including budgeting and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in education, management, or a related field
  • Experience in education program coordination, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the education and training landscape in Vanuatu, particularly within the assigned province.
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Commitment to the vision, mission and values of Vanuatu Institute of Technology.
  • Competent in Microsoft word and excel
