The National Disaster Management office wishes to recruit a suitable candidate for the Position of a Provincial Disaster officer.

Location: National Disaster Office – Tafea
Ministry: Climate Change (MoCC)

Selection Criteria:

Qualification:
Year 13 or Diploma

Special Business Education:
Disaster or disasters and climate change or environmental studies or related field or relevant work experience.

Experience:
At least 2-3 years’ Experience in working in an emergency or disaster related field in Vanuatu

Special Skills:

• Valid Driver’s licence and Advantage
• Basic Computer skills (word Suite)
• Planning skills
• Negotiating+Laison Skills
• Report writing
