Since 1981, we have been working in Vanuatu to transform communities through delivering programming in education, health, water and sanitation and resilient livelihoods alongside Vanuatu Government.
We are currently looking for suitable, qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professionals to fill the role of Project Managers X 2 and Project Officers x 6 for its Youth Livelihood Project to be based in Torba and Tanna.
The project will be supporting a new youth-focussed project in Tanna and Torba which aims to support adolescent and young people’s well , being , resilience and livelihood development . These positions will be based in Torba and Tanna.
The Project Managers will:
- Report to the Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate with Portfolio Manager – manage project activities within the respective province, including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and some budgeting responsibilities. Ensure World Vision Vanuatu delivers high quality outcomes on time , within budget and in line with WVV core values.
- Managing programme/ project staff including capacity building, performance monitoring and day to day operational support.
- Working in partnership with Provincial stakeholders and communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant and high-quality programmes in a sensitive and professional manner.
An annual salary package of between VT1,769,484 to VT1,990,668 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The Project Officers will:
- Report to the Project Manager
- Implement project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
An annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
