Job Description
• An exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and regionally based aviation safety and security oversight organisation established to serve our Members, the signatories to the Pacific Islands Civil Aviation Safety and Security Treaty (PICASST).
• Contract full-time position open to Vanuatu citizens only
• Based in Port Vila
Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) is committed to provide continuous improvement in the quality of aviation safety and security oversight services to comply with international standards, required under the ICAO Conventions. Our headquarters are based in Port Vila, Vanuatu and PASO Member States include Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. We also have a strong relationship with Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand who serve on the PASO Council.
The Program Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day implementation of funded projects and will support PASO in its reform process providing project and financial management support to the organisation. The Program Manager will support and work closely with the Head of Donor Programs and other key personnel supporting the Donor Programs team. This role will report directly to the Head of Donor Programs.
The scope of work will include the following areas: Project Planning Related Tasks, Management Related Tasks, Procurement & Contract Management Related Tasks, Finance Related Tasks, and Reporting.
