PRINCIPAL

The Board of Port Vila International School (PVIS) warmly invites applications from experienced school leaders for the position of Principal at our wonderful school.

Port Vila International School (PVIS) has a proud history and strong reputation as the leading independent school educating students from 3-years old Early Learning to Year 12. As a charitable organisation, the governance of PVIS is overseen by a Board of Directors while the responsibility for the management of the school is delegated to the Principal.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Hold current Teacher’s Registration or be eligible to be registered with an Australian, New Zealand or other equivalent Registration Board.
• Hold a Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field plus a Post Graduate Diploma of Teaching or other relevant recognised teaching qualification.
• Have strong experience in school senior leadership.
• Be able to obtain a Vanuatu Work Permit through passing a general health check (including being fully vaccinated against COVID-19) and successfully pass a Police Check to the satisfaction of PVIS.
