Job Description

Port Vila International School (PVIS) is seeking remarkable Teaching Assistants to join our team for an immediate start. We require versatile and resourceful Teaching Assistants who will be able to support our wonderful teachers in their role and actively assist students’ learning. We have a replacement position in the Primary School (may lead to ongoing) and an ongoing position in the Secondary School.

We require applicants to:

• Be reliable and hardworking
• Be able to work as a team, yet be able to work independently when required
• Be willing to learn and show initiative
• Be positive and caring
• Have high literacy and numeracy levels
• Be confident communicators

All applicants must hold Grade 13 Certificate as a minimum and it is preferred that Secondary Teaching Assistants have completed some further study in Mathematics or Science.
