Full-Time POWER PLANT OPERATORS
Job Description
Wishes to recruit a Ni-Vanuatu (male or female) to fill the position of a POWER PLANT OPERATORS for its Port Vila Production Department, who meets the following requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training at Bac or vocational school level in marine engineer, supplemented by professional experience
SKILLS:
- Check the state of the equipment, the installation and secure the whole
- Checking the progress of the production steps and the work rhythm
- Knowledge of energy consumption control
- Identify deviations from measured data
- Carry out adjustments to burners, turbines and alternators from a central control system
- Knowledge of the positioning of machines according to the manoeuvres
- Knowledge of detecting malfunctions in installations, determining the causes of breakdowns and drawing up requests for maintenance work
- Knowledge of analyzing the operating data of an installation.

MISSIONS:
- Carries out monitoring and control rounds,
- Carries out routine manual operations (manoeuvres, adjustments, minor repairs, fuel and oil handling, oil and refrigerant top-ups),
- Writes reports on rounds, records information and informs his/her hierarchy of any anomalies.
- Participates, during shutdowns or off-shift, in the tasks of the maintenance teams (mechanical and electrical)
- A driving license would be an asset.
LANGUAGES:
- Good command of French, English and Bislama.
