Since 1981, we have been working in Vanuatu to transform communities through delivering programming in education, health, water and sanitation and resilient livelihoods alongside the Vanuatu Government. Safeguarding children and adults living in communities where we work is also central to everything we do.
We are currently looking for suitable, qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional to fill the role of People & Culture Senior Advisor with World Vision Vanuatu.
This position is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. The ExLT is expected to role model leadership behaviours that are aligned with organizational core values, set a positive tone for the organizational life and culture that are fit for purpose, and support achievement of organizational vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
The People & Culture Senior Advisor will:
- Provide Strategic and operational leadership to the HR function.
- Contribute to the funding resources development and/or management.
- Provide reporting and knowledge management.
- Provide technical support & quality assurance.
- Contribute to capacity building.
- Establish liaison and networking within the organization.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR area, with minimum 3 years’ experience in HR leadership.
- Bachelor Degree or Master degree in Human Resources.
- Experience in providing leadership, advice and recommendation to all level in HR function.
- Have ability to partner and collaborate, which include to lead or involve in the collaboration tasks.
- Have ability to encourage and grow people.
- High level of cultural sensitivity and diplomatic skills and a demonstrated ability to manage cross- cultural dynamics.
- Mature Christian with a commitment to World Vision Core Value and Mission statement
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer and knowledge management skills, including the ability to learn new platforms.
