About The Role
Role Location: ANZ Vanuatu
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time opportunity
As a Payments Officer, your role is to complete the task of inward and outward international and domestic payments processing for the country. You will ensure high quality, prompt and efficient processing of time critical transactions. In addition, you will also raise timely and cost effective investigation, resolving enquiries to enable clearance of invalid payment items and items queried by other parties in the payment chain. Some of the transactions processed are of high value thus exposing the Group to significant risk.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
- Significant banking experience with knowledge of payments procedures
- Well versed with International payments
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Highly developed problem solving skills and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at varying levels – from senior managers to operations staff
