We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team in Vanuatu. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional—ideally a current Rooms Division Manager Front Office Manager or Department Head—who is ready to step into a broader leadership role and make a lasting impact on a luxury island resort.
About the Role
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, working closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and seamless coordination across rooms, food & beverage, activities, and guest services.
This is a hands-on role for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment and who can balance operational excellence with the warmth and authenticity of Vanuatu hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support operational teams across rooms, F&B, and guest activities. ∙ Drive service standards to deliver consistent luxury experiences.
- Manage daily operations, staffing, and guest relations with a proactive approach. ∙ Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with staff, guests, and the local community.
- Act as acting General Manager in their absence.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in luxury/boutique hotels or resorts (island or remote experience an advantage).
- Previous experience as a Rooms Division Manager, F&B Manager, or Operations Manager.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a remote island environment.
- Desire to grow into senior resort leadership roles.
