CARE International in Vanuatu (CARE Vanuatu) has a focus on Gender Equality, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), Humanitarian Preparedness and Emergency Response and Recovery.
We are looking for an Office Cleaner to join our Operations team based in Port Vila.
Your major responsibilities will be varied and will include:
- Responsible and accountable to ensure the cleanliness of CARE Vanuatu Office including public and work areas
- Responsible and to ensure there is enough stocks of kitchen, toiletries and cleaning supplies
- Assist with arranging refreshments in meetings and workshops as requested
Required qualifications and experiences:
- Completed Primary School;
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience, preferably with a Non-Government Organization (NGO);
- Good communication skills in both Bislama and basic knowledge of English is an advantage;
- Ability to work within clearly defined routines and plans; repetitive manual duties, with minimal supervision;
- Demonstrated ability to take direction, work as part of a team and be punctual;
- A willingness to learn how to manage and acquit a small cash advance;
- Good interpersonal skills including, open mindedness, willingness to learn, team spirit, good attitude and personality; and
- Demonstrated honesty, reliable and trustworthy.
