Job Description

GNYF oversees gospel-hearted, Bible-based, and student-led ministries in tertiary institutions around Vanuatu.

The Nasonel Daerekta oversees the operations of GNYF under the direction and supervision of the national board. As well as close involvement with actual groups on campuses, the ND will be responsible for modelling faithful Bible teaching, training student leaders, developing future staff, and planting new ministries. They will also be responsible for managing relationships with related groups around the region and globally.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable godly character
• Experience in tertiary student Christian ministry
• Fluency in Bislama and English
• Evidence of formal training in theology or Bible
• Experience in overseeing finance and managing teams of volunteers

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

• Competency in French
• Degree-level theological training
• Experience with board governance, especially with NGOs

NOTE
This is a voluntary role/ requires financial support to be independently developed and remitted according to GNYF policies and governance.
