Selection Criteria

Qualification:
Masters

Special Business Education:
Policy & planning or Environmental Science or related field

Experience:
At least 3 ‐ 5 years’ experience working within the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction sector in research, report writing, consultation and liaison, policy development, project management

Special Skills:
Advanced research skills
Experienced in policy related issues
Excellent computer skills –

• Data bases and
• Word Suite

Drivers licence an advantage

Thinking Style:
Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking abilities

Communication and Interpersonal skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Confident & persuasive public speaker

Behavioral Competencies
Ability to work under pressure and work independently

Language/ spoken
English and Bislama or French
