Where you come in:
In this full-time position, based in Port Vila you will lead the MEAL team within our country program, managing the country office-wide MEAL system, and generating evidence across our programs.
You will make an impact by:
- Supporting program teams to generate high quality evidence of intervention effectiveness to inform learning and adaptation
- Supporting the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure high quality monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning
- Undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform program learning
- Equipping program teams with skills and tools to undertake robust data collection

…Your experience in monitoring and evaluation and project management roles, knowledge of the Vanuatu community and culture, and a creative approach to problem solving will see the delivery of the MEAL systems ensuring it functions to the highest standard. You have a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. You are comfortable working on your own and in teams. You are self-motivated, flexible and driven to see results.
This role requires:
- Tertiary qualification/s in relevant and related discipline.
- Experience in a similar role in monitoring and evaluation, research, data management, academia, or similar field.
- Strong team and project management skills
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills (inc. report writing), and command of Microsoft Office suite.
