Wishes to recruit a Ni-Vanuatu (male or female) to fill the position of a METER READER/ MINOR OPERATIONS for our Small Interventions section who meets the following requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Certificate in Electricity or equivalent qualification

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of electricity
• Knowledge of water supply network
• Knowledge of electricity supply network
• Ability to attend to breakdowns on prepaid meters
• Field analysis
• Valid drivers licence

ATTRIBUTES:

TASKS:

• Undertake the reading of meters in accordance with planned schedule of tasks
• Undertake reading of Hight Voltage (HV)
• Check the general condition of installations visited to ensure their compliance and avoid any risk both in terms of safety and fraud
• Carry out intervention orders according to the schedule determined by his/her superiors
• Carry out and report back on malfunction and breakdown analysis of prepaid meters
• Advise on and/or be capable of attending to any malfunction found
• Undertake field monitoring of meters according to planned schedule of superiors

LANGUAGES:

• Good command of French, English and Bislama
