Full-Time MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Job Description
Vanuatu Utilities & Infrastructure Limited (A Pernix Group Company) is currently looking for a suitably Qualified Mechanical Engineer to provide Mechanical engineering and technical service support to the Power Stations with respect to the Mechanical operations and maintenance, fault diagnosis and installations of diesel generating sets and auxiliary plants for efficient, safe and reliable operation.
Selection Criteria:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering:
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in maintenance and Mechanical installations with Wartsila and/or CAT-MAK engines
- Thorough knowledge of power plants Mechanical and instrumentation systems, engine/generator controls
- Expertise in fault analysis, troubleshooting and conditions monitoring
- Expertise in use of Computer technology and project scheduling applications
