Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager in Audit and Accounting to join our dynamic team at AJC. This role involves overseeing and managing audit and accounting projects, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing expert financial advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit and accounting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business and financial needs.
- Provide guidance on financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.
- Collaborate with other departments to offer comprehensive business solutions to clients. ● Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Assist in business development activities, including preparing tender proposals nurturing business development and networking.
- Manage budgets and timelines for audit and accounting projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree CA or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in audit and accounting, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
