Job Description

Vanuatu Brewing Limited is looking for a suitable candidate for the position mentioned.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on brewery machinery (pumps, compressors, conveyors, heat exchangers, boilers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in brewing vessels, bottling/kegging lines, and packaging equipment
• Replace worn-out machine parts (bearings, seals, belts, gears, valves).

2. Brewing & Packaging Support

• Maintain filling machines, capping/crowning machines, labeling units, and conveyors to reduce downtime.
• Ensure correct and mechanical setup for efficient bottling/kegging operations.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.

3. Utilities & Facility Maintenance

• Operate and maintain utilities such as steam systems, chillers, compressors
• Support CIP (Cleaning in Place) systems to ensure sanitary conditions.

Qualification & Skills:

Education: Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience: 2–3 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in food & beverage, beer, or bottling industries.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Experience with packaging machinery (fillers, cappers, labelers).
• Welding, fabrication, and machining skills (an advantage).
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled machines (basic troubleshooting).
