Full-Time MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Company Brief
Against a backdrop of strong growth, Vanuatu Brewing Ltd intends to double its production capacity in Vanuatu over the coming months. New investments in production are planned, as well as the construction of a new brewery. The company is immediately looking for a new maintenance manager to support these exciting challenges. Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Guarantee the good condition of the means of production and handling
- Conduct the maintenance work of the premises
- Supervise the maintenance work of the installations
- Optimize the operational quality of lifts and vehicles
- Perform 1st level control visits of lifts and vehicles
- Store consumables and maintenance
- Exploit the technical elements reported by the different sites
- Conduct machine maintenance work
- Study technical documents
- Report to the service manager the technical anomalies observed
- Suggest technical solutions
- Participate in technical correspondence
2. Ensure compliance with safety rules
- Apply the safety rules in force
- Apply the normative safety instructions
- Educate staff on safety rules
- Perform a security check before leaving the company
- Contribute to improvements in security means
- Contribute to improving prevention
- Apply the recommendations of Occupational Medicine
- Participate in safety training
- Make factory machines compliant
- Monitor the proper functioning of machine safety devices
- Report safety defects to the DI
3. Ensuring the maintenance policy and associated resources
- Contribute to the implementation of projects
- Participate in the modifications to be made
- Develop good knowledge of new equipment in the sector
- Participate in industrial tests of new cleaning products
- Record the parameters of industrial tests of cleaning products
- Contribute to the writing of product test reports
- Participate in general cleanliness operations
- Implement corrective actions
- Apply hygiene standards
- Report the anomalies observed to the DI
4. Contribute to the implementation of technical projects
- Perform the evacuation or storage of used equipment
- Perform the dismantling of used equipment or installations
- Participate in the reception of machines and unpacking
- Participate in the installation of equipment
- Participate in training on new equipment
- Contribute on all aspects of new project following hierarchy request
Qualifications & Skills Required;
- High Technical Maintenance diploma or equivalent diploma
- or 5 years works in a similar function in industry
- Good electrotechnology knowledge
- Good practices of Word and Excel software
- Knowledge in food process
- Knowledge in welding
- Knowledge in Automatism and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge in refrigeration and steam production
- English or French, read, spoken and write
- Driving license (option)
