Pacific Polytanks is looking to recruit a Ni-Vanuatu (male) to fill the position of a Machine Operator in its Manufacturing Plant in Port Vila, who meets the following requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Training at any vocational institutions in the field of mechanical engineering or similar

SKILLS:

• Ability to use electrical power tools
• Checking the progress of the production process
• Welding experience
• Machine operation
• Quality Control experience

ATTITUDE:

• Observational skills
• Punctual
• Ability to work in a team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and follow management direction
• Meet periodic production goals
• Carriy out routine machine checks
• Write up production forms detailing quality assurance checks
• Identify machine faults
• Understand production protocols and abide by international standards
• Welding repair and fabrication would be an asset
• A driving license would be an asset

LANGUAGES:
Good understanding of English and Bislama.
