Job Description
AJC is looking for a Local Director for their client CDO Markets Limited
CDO Markets Limited was incorporated by professionals working in the brokerage, banking and fin-tech industry, who decided to combine their experience of more than 50 years in the financial investment industry to bring retail customers the excellence of service and liquidity that is normally reserved for professionals.
Responsibilities
- Directing the resources of the company, analysing ongoing processes and performance of the company,
- Creating business plans, company budgets and reports in order to expand the business in Financial services industry,
- Developing R&D process, appropriate company policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements of the VFSC.
Qualifications
- Must be residing in Vanuatu or prepared to become a resident upon taking the role.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience are required in the financial services sector in a management position covering Global Capital Markets, especially Forex, CFDs, Futures and similar derivative markets.
- Proven management and communication skills are key.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must be familiar with cloud-based software and highly proficient in technology.
- Candidates with a degree in finance, economics, software development, engineering, MBA, or other relevant fields will have an added advantage.
- Well-versed in the rules and regulations of the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) and the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit (VFIU).
- Solid analytical and logical thinking.
- Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of financial markets, online trading, Forex, leveraged investment, commodities, crypto currencies, stocks, indices, P&L, balance sheet, etc as well as of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
